Thanks for stopping by! It's been a busy summer. Here is a little of what I've been up to and what's coming up. I had the joy of getting to perform with a new band a few weeks ago, well at least new to me. They are a great band out of The UK called "The Heavy" you probably heard them while watching a Kia comercial and didn't even know it. I performed with them at The Hammer Museum for one of KCRW's summer concert series events along with Fitz and The Tantrums. What a fun night that was! Wonk will be performing twice this month. Aug. 10th at The Baked Potato and August 30th at San Manuel Casino. If you haven't been Wonked yet I highly recommend it. We play a high energy mix of Funk/rock jazz. I'm also happy to announce the release of the debut cd for WONK. Just a year after hitting the studio we have 10 juicy tracks ready to be consumed. So, dig in! On August 20th my jazz trio will be performing at Red White + Bluezz in Pasadena. If you haven't checked out this venue yet I highly recommend it. Any place that has jazz 7 nights a week is definitely worth supporting. We will be playing 2 sets starting at 7:30 pm. Looking into next month I will be performing with Derek Frank's band at The Baked Potato on Sept. 14th. We play a fun mix of rock, fusion, and funk. You'll dig it! Check out Sex Sells by my good friend Rithma. The album was released late last year on OM Records and can be purchased in digital download form only. I'm featured on the title track and a few others. Check it out, Rithma is an extremely talented musician and producer.
